Review of St. George, Utah

Might be a great place in the future
Star Rating - 7/9/2021
We recently moved here and this are our thoughts:
- Landscape wise no doubts this is one of the most beautiful places we have been
- Public spaces are very clean, well kept, good area to raise a family
- Housing prices are high compared to what it actually is (also houses/lots are scarce)
- there are almost NO RENTALS FOR PETS. On average 60% of US citizens have a pet- the market here is ignoring that fact and offers no opportunities for renters
- Salaries are low
- Don't move here if you are a foodie (variety + quality very limited) or love to go to bars (there are maybe 3)
- Roads, size of the city isn't adjusted to all the people moving here and will have trouble in the future
- if you are used to bigger cities with a huge variety you will miss a lot here

My only reply would be in regards to “only 3 bars” in St. George. This is Utah! Not only a dry state but against the religion. If bars are high on your list then Utah should not be. That said, all I can say for the state is that it’s beautiful. Lucky for me I don’t drink ??
